My background

Hi, I’m Kelly — it’s really lovely to be here.

I’ve spent many years working in education across North and East London, which has given me a strong understanding of the pressures we often carry while juggling work, relationships, family life, and expectations. I’ve know how easy it is to keep going while holding a lot beneath the surface. That experience led me into counselling, supporting others to explore their emotions, understand themselves better, and find ways to cope with everyday challenges with more clarity and self-compassion.

My approach

I’m a therapeutic counsellor and a registered member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). I genuinely care about walking alongside you as you navigate the ups and downs of adult life. I offer a warm, supportive space where you can talk openly, feel truly listened to, and explore whatever’s on your mind, without fear of judgement.

I believe you know yourself better than anyone else. My role is to support you in making sense of your thoughts and feelings, and to help you reconnect with what feels right for you. Having a safe, confidential space to talk can make it easier to understand what’s troubling you and begin making changes that help you live in a way that feels more authentic and aligned with who you are.

How we will work together

How I will help you

At Kindred Ear Therapeutic Counselling, I know how overwhelming life can feel at times, whether you’re dealing with anxiety, relationship or family worries, or just a sense that something isn’t quite right. You don’t have to manage it on your own. I offer a calm, supportive space where you can talk things through, feel genuinely listened to, and begin to make sense of what’s going on.

I have experience working with adults and young people across a range of settings in London and Essex, and I tailor therapy to you rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. We’ll work together to explore what’s been weighing on you, build confidence, and help you feel more able to cope and move forward in a way that feels right for you.
