Grief, loss and life transitions

Losing someone or something important can affect your relationships, your sense of self and the future you imagined.

I offer counselling for bereavement and other experiences of loss, including relationship endings, estrangement, fertility difficulties, changes in health and significant life transitions.

We can explore what you’re carrying, how it affects everyday life and what support might help. Your loss may be recent or something you’ve lived with for years.

Counselling for children and young people

You may have noticed your child becoming withdrawn, anxious or quicker to anger. Perhaps friendships, family changes or school life feel difficult, and they’re struggling to explain what’s happening.

I support children and young people with grief, anxiety, low mood, confidence, relationship difficulties and emotional challenges.

Sessions are adapted to their age, needs and preferred way of communicating. We can talk, or use drawing, writing and images when these make it easier to explore their experiences. Creative activities are always optional.

As a qualified teacher and counsellor, I bring experience of working with young people across schools, specialist educational settings and a further education college.
